It’s the last weekend this year to celebrate riding your hog at Hawg Lakes, so if you’ve got bike, the Hawg Lakes Motorcycle Rally in Tecumseh, Okla. is the place to be Sept. 9-12. Fun and fellowship found in rolling with the flock
I am not going to go into an explanation on biker hand signals for riding in a pack in this article. Instead I have included a chart of the recognized hand signals used by bikers in a pack. When you ride in a group make sure you use these hand signals at all times. Contrasting riding by yourself, pack riding can be especially hazardous because you have motorcycle riders in front of you and behind you, and typically, safe distances are not observed. To the east, my brothers and sisters – on Route 66
We begin this month’s ride at the Hard Rock Casino in Catoosa. The Wild Potato breakfast buffet is a good place to meet and fill your tummy prior to the ride. The QuikTrip across the expressway is also a good place to fill your bike. Turn left out of the casino parking lot and right at Wendy’s, which is the old Route 66. Continue to the stop sign, turn right then left at the stoplight. We are now on our Route 66 journey....
